Jared B. Nickerson, Esq.
Jared is a licensed Colorado Attorney practicing in the areas of family law, criminal defense, and appeals. He was licensed to practice law in Colorado in 2024, Jared brings a diverse background in both law and business, offering clients a well-rounded perspective and strong advocacy in navigating legal challenges. He is a cum laude graduate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law. Before law, Jared graduated #1 in his class from the U.S. Army Paralegal Training Program, a distinction that highlights his discipline, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure—skills he carries into every case he handles.
Madison is a licensed Colorado Attorney practicing in the areas of criminal defense, drafting and reviewing agreements, and appeals. She was licensed to practice law in Colorado in 2024. She is a former prosecutor with extensive courtroom experience, having taken numerous cases to trial. Madison also brings a strong background in legal research, motion practice, and case strategy. She is also a cum laude graduate from the University of Massachusetts School of Law. Before law, Madison is a former real estate agent and holds a degree in psychology, providing her with a unique perspective on negotiation and the human dynamics involved in legal disputes.
When not advocating for clients, Jared & Madison enjoy spending time with their dog, Genevieve and traveling. They are outdoor enthusiasts, They both love skiing/snowboarding, working out, and exploring.
People 1st Law works with Metro Volunteer Lawyers (MVL), the Colorado Alternate Defense Counsel (ADC), and Legal Entrepreneurs for Justice (LEJ) to provide legal support and services to residents of Colorado.
